Who do we support?

We are a drop in advice and guidance hub supporting people who are homeless, insecurely housed or at risk of becoming homeless. We are located in Swansea.

What is the purpose of this service?

Our purpose is to help people in a housing emergency such as; rough sleeping, leaving prison, unable to remain in their current accommodation or having difficulty maintaining their tenancy and need help. The service carries out this work in partnership with Housing Options and the Wallich Rough Sleepers Team. There are also a number of other agencies who provide support from the project and work closely with the Access Point team to best help clients. 

What support does this service provide? 

We provide:

  • Access to emergency accommodation
  • Shower and laundry facilities
  • Support with benefits
  • Support with housing issues
  • Access to donations, computers, telephones
  • Onward referral to specialist services
  • Outreach housing support for prisoners
  • A Needle Exchange
  • Care of address
  • Access to dedicated Solution focused Practitioner
