About Goleudy
Goleudy works across South Wales to prevent homelessness and support people to build safer, more stable and independent lives. We provide supported accommodation, tenancy support, and specialist services for people with complex needs. Our mission is to offer safe housing, personalised support and opportunities for people to thrive.
What Makes Goleudy Different
We use Solution-Focused Practice (SFP) — a strengths-based approach that helps people recognise their abilities, focus on progress, and take small positive steps forward. You don’t need prior SFP experience: we offer full training, coaching, and ongoing support.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable Community Fridge Volunteer Van Driver to support our Communities Team and Community Fridge project in Swansea.
Our Community Fridge helps us make good use of surplus food collected from local supermarkets and community partners. The food we collect supports our community activities and is also used to prepare food parcels for Goleudy's homelessness housing projects across Swansea.
As our Volunteer Van Driver, you will play an important practical role in collecting surplus food from agreed supermarkets and collection points, transporting it back to Connect and helping deliver prepared food parcels to our homelessness housing projects.
You do not need your own vehicle. Goleudy has a van based on site at Connect which will be used for agreed collections and deliveries.
This is an ideal volunteering opportunity for somebody who enjoys driving, prefers a practical and active role and would like to make a direct contribution to tackling food waste and supporting people experiencing homelessness and other challenges within the Swansea community.

Applicants who are taken forward will be invited to an informal interview to discuss the role, their availability and suitability.
