Who do we support?
We support individuals aged 18+ who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in Swansea.
What is the purpose of this service?
We are a direct-access rapid rehousing project with 13 rooms and 1 Emergency Bed. Our aim is to support individuals on into accommodation that suits their needs.
We constantly work towards being a psycholgically informed and trauma informed environment, and we place the strengths and resources of our residents at the heart of our project.
What support does this service provide?
We provide emotional and practical support to individuals who may have experienced trauma, rough-sleeping, poor mental health, substance addiction, offending, amongst others. We work closely with partner agencies to ensure residents receive wrap-around support.
Staff work closely with residents to to identifying their goals and aspirations. We hold regular residents meetings and residents are encouraged to participate in these. Residents are assisted to find move on accommodation and we offer a resettlement service to ensure they have the skills to successfully maintain their tenancy.
All residents have access to the Solution Focus Service and can meet 1:1 - virtually or in person - with a Solution Focus Practitioner.
