Goleudy operates Maple Tree House in partnership with Bridgend Council. Maple Tree House is a 24-hour supported hostel based in Bridgend. The provides short-term direct-access accommodation and support to individuals aged 18+ years and above who have experienced homelessness, and who may need a degree of support in order to live independently.
Maple Tree House consists of 9 bedrooms, 5 are double rooms available to couples and 4 are single. The communal areas comprise of lounges, reception area, and garden. There are shared kitchens, bath and shower facilities. We constantly work towards being a psychologically informed and trauma informed environment, and we place the strengths and resources of our residents at the heart of our project. The aim of the project is to provide support to enable clients by working with them to gain the right skills and experience to manage their own accommodation and live independently within community.
We provide emotional and practical support to individuals low risk who may have experienced trauma, rough-sleeping, poor mental health, substance misuse, offending, amongst any other difficulties. There is a minimum of one staff member present at all times at the scheme. Once support needs have been successfully addressed, residents will be supported to move forward into appropriate accommodation which may be independent or further supported living depending on the individual’s needs and preferred outcome. We work closely with partner agencies to ensure residents receive wrap-around support.
All residents have access to the Solution Focus Service and can meet 1:1 - virtually or in person - with a Solution Focus Practitioner.
Referrals are via Bridgend Council.
Please make enquiries with our team if you would like to know more about the service.
