Background: I began my career as a Support Worker in a fast-paced, highly demanded service. Over time, I progressed through roles to Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, Service Manager, and now Area Manager. This hands-on experience gives me a deep understanding and invaluable knowledge of the pressures and emotional demands faced by our frontline staff, who work tirelessly with some of the most vulnerable individuals in society. This empathy translates into action - creating solutions that empower teams to
thrive and deliver lasting impact.

Management Focus and Improvements

As a management team, we have strengthened the structures that empower staff to deliver their best support. This includes comprehensive training, clear policies and procedures, regular supervision, reflective sessions, and ongoing access to guidance and direct support from Management. Our Talent Management Programme provides defined pathways for professional growth, while robust emotional support ensures staff feel valued and resilient. By fostering a positive, connected, and celebratory culture, we continue to build a motivated and reliable team.


The impact is clear when comparing the first six months of 2025 with the same period in 2022:


• 737 clients supported – an increase of 7% since 2022
• 27,078 actions completed – an increase of 60% since 2022

All of this has been achieved with roughly the same-sized support teams. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of investing in staff development and wellbeing to drive sustained improvement and engagement.

For the people we support

We value the people we support and treat each individual with compassion, dignity, and understanding. With better-trained and more experienced staff, we have been able to increase the number of support instances per individual by 50% compared with the same period three years ago. A successful move-on represents the most meaningful outcome for a vast majority of the people we support, demonstrating that our tailored support empowers individuals to achieve long-term stability and independence. Through a focused commitment to staff development and continuous improvement, Goleudy has achieved a 44% increase in successful move-ons compared with the same period three years ago.


These outcomes highlight how investing in our staff drives measurable, positive change for those we support.
