Executive Assistant to the Board of Trustees will advise and guide the CEO and Board of Trustees on governance, constitutional and procedural matters.
Executive Assistant to the Board of Trustees will contribute towards the efficient functioning
the charity’s board and its subcommittees by providing:
Administrative and organisational support
Guidance to ensure that the board works in compliance with the appropriate legal and regulatory framework
Advice on procedural matters relating to the operation of the board
The Executive Assistant to the Board of Trustees will be required to attend the evening trustee meetings in Swansea.

Executive Assistant to the Board of Trustees will:
Plan the Board meetings and subcommittee meetings
Ensure that each meeting has minutes
Ensure that board matters are dealt with
Manage board information and meeting papers
Liaise with regulatory bodies as required
Working Knowledge of UK Charity and Company Law
Substantial experience working with, and serving on UK Charity boards
Experience in data protection and security.
Substantial experience in reporting to the board of an organisation and assisting and advising on company policy, processes and the strategic direction of the Charity
Good organisational and communication skills
Competent IT user
Knowledgeable and experienced in trustee, governance, and charity matters
Developed stakeholder/partner relationship management skills
Financial literacy
Good planning skills
Have you experience either serving on a UK Charity Board, serving on the Board of a UK company or have you been an EA to a charity or company CEO
This is a part-time role and the salary is based on 7hrs per week. There is flexibility with home-working but you must be available to attend the meeting of the Charaty's trustee board in Swansea in the evening.
