The Clerk to the Board will provide advice and guidance to the CEO and Board of Trustees on governance, constitutional and procedural matters.
The Clerk to the Board of Trustees will contribute towards the efficient functioning
the charity’s board and its subcommittees by providing:
Administrative and organisational support
Guidance to ensure that the board works in compliance with the appropriate legal and regulatory framework
Advice on procedural matters relating to the operation of the board
Learning and Development: Excellent training opportunities are offered and there are real opportunities for in-house progression

The Clerk to the Board of Trustees will:
Plan the Board meetings and subcommittee meetings
Ensure that each meeting has minutes
Ensure that board matters are dealt with
Manage board information and meeting papers
Liaise with regulatory bodies as required
Good organisational and communication skills
Competent IT user
Knowledgeable and experienced in trustee, governance, and charity matters
Developed stakeholder/partner relationship management skills
Financial literacy
Good planning skills
