Goleudy supports individuals aged 18+ who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in Swansea. We offer a direct-access rapid rehousing project with rooms and emergency beds. Our aim is to support individuals to find their own accommodation.
We constantly work towards being a psychologically informed and trauma-informed environment, and we place the strengths and resources of our residents at the heart of our project. You will work closely with residents to identify their goals and aspirations. The role will also include supporting people with:
Debts, arrears and benefits
Searching for alternative accommodation
Housing Support and Advice
Trauma-Informed and Solution Focus approach to person-centred support
Goleudy is a charity based in South Wales and has been established since 1975 and has 47 years of experience delivering services.
We cover 4 local authority areas with a range of services that include 24-hour hostels, intensive and preventative floating support, rough sleepers outreach services, supported housing and mental health & substance misuse services.
We prevent homelessness, provide housing, create opportunities, and tackle poverty and social exclusion. Our job is to improve the lives of people who are threatened with, or experience homelessness, a housing crisis, or mental health (MH) issues and trauma.Goleudy will make sure we give you the encouragement and support you need to succeed
